The Salvation Army just opened a HUGE store right down the block from me! My son and I spent all day on Sunday searching through the stacks of really cool clothes and toys. I am collecting bud vases to use in my 2008 wedding, and I hit the jackpot this weekend! The one thing that I was quite impressed with is that it is right in the same area of a lot of "super" chain stores like Target and Wal-Mart, and it seems like alot of the things that these stores are throwing away, make it to the shelves of the SA story, which makes me happy, at lease someone may be able to use it and it does not end up cluttering our landfills!! I wonder if this is just certain stores that do this, or if it is company-wide that they donate the left-over stock of items that they are unable to sell??
